I encourage student engagement through interactive workshops, where students apply theoretical concepts to practical cases. Together with Emma Ricknell at Linnaeus University, I have developed a methods workshop series called “The Tale of Folke Folkesson.” In this workshop series, students get to practically try different methods, see how they do (not) interact, and what each method is most useful for. These workshops are not only educational, but also a lot of fun! We present the workshop in the article "From Laughter to Learning: Teaching Method through Engaging Narratives Workshops" published in the Journal of Political Science Education. The workshop material is available at the American Political Science Association's educational material.
