I am a researcher and lecturer in the Department of Political Science at Linnaeus University, Sweden. Previously, I was a Fulbright scholar at the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics and the Greene Lab, Harvard University, USA. I have also been a visiting scholar and committee officer at the Swedish Parliament.
My research interests are in ethics, democratic governance, and pedagogic innovation in higher education. I tend to combine normative questions (what ought we do) with empirical questions (what are we doing) to inform political, democratic, and social practices. My work has been published in the British Journal of Political Science, Crime, Law and Social Change, and Journal of Political Science Education. Read more about my research, publications, and dissertation here.
Teaching is important to me. My pedagogical work is heavily inspired by active-learning principles, which can be seen in the workshop material that is available at the American Political Science Association's educational material. You can find out more about my teaching philosophy and examples of workshops here.
